Merry Christmas, Chloe. Wish you didn’t have to work today, but in a way it’s probably kind of nice. I’m kind of glad Joe has to work today so that we’re not expected to have a “normal” Christmas like everyone else. We did Christmas with Jake on Friday, then Joe worked yesterday and today so it’s been really low-key around here. Might throw the tree out today (it was our only “decoration” this year), and it’s probably warm enough for Joe to take the 1/2 string of lights off the house when he gets home. Will probably play some Super Mario with Jake on his new wii later.

And just so you know…You have my secret dream job!

There are times when I really and truly do like that we celebrate the holidays on other days. There seems less pressure to make it “perfect” somehow.

I hope you enjoyed your day. And you never know. Maybe someday you will have your dream job!
